Creating Coding Ports

Find an example of a coding port here.

  1. Create a page and name it ____'s Port, filling in the blank with either your username or internet name.
  2. Create sections and templates displaying various examples of items you are willing to code for other users.
  3. Provide explanations for users so that they can easily specify how to customize the items.
  4. Organize your Port (perhaps using tabbers, headers, and/or expanders) in a way that is convenient to users.
  5. When finished, add either the Active Port or Inactive Port template to your page, based on whether or not you're accepting projects at the time. This is done using {{AP}} (active) or {{IP}} (inactive).

Requirements:

  • Your Coding Port should be both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
  • You must include either the template of Active Port or Inactive Port, depending on whether or not you can take any projects at the moment.
